Brickfish Campaign--PLEASE VOTE!

So I entered one of my photos in a contest to win $600. I need to get in the top 150 by March 16th to be considered for the prize. So anyone who wants to vote for me would be my best friend in the world. :)

Something about my life.

So, I figured I'd talk a little bit about where I grew up through words and photos (since I've taken a TON). I grew up in a little town outside of Erie. My house right now is nestled in the woods-ish, and there's a creek that runs by my property that has a gorgeous little waterfall that I constantly take pictures of.

It's just a little guy, but it's SO pretty to look at. Probably one of the coolest things is when it freezes in the winter.

Last thing I want to show real quick is Presque Isle. People around Erie rip on it all the time, but at sunset, it's probably one of my favorite places to be. Ever.

I've got plenty more where that came from, but those are just a few that show where I'm from! More will probably come soon.

I'm legit going to start doing this!

So since it'd been MONTHS since I'd updated anything, I've decided to delete everything and start over. I just started the spring semester of my junior year at Point Park University, where I'm currently taking 18 credits (I overachieve) as well as balancing two jobs and a social life. My life is kind of crazy, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

My friends & family pretty much rock. They mean pretty much everything to me. umm...what else...I'm 21...party! Except I rarely go out...haha.
So, since I go to school for broadcasting, my goals include becoming an anchor and eventually become a host for a national morning show. The TODAY show is my personal favorite, but I wouldn't say no to Good Morning America either. Another big interest of mine that I'd like to turn into some kind of side career is photography. My parents got me a new Nikon D60 for my birthday that's basically my baby. Most of this blog thing will be posts of photos I've taken. I've been published in Point Park's creative magazine, the Cavalcade. Not to brag, but I'm kind of a big deal. ;)

Here's a couple things I've taken this past semester. Of course, Pittsburgh. And one of my favorite flower, tiger lillies!

I believe that's all I've got for right now. Watch for more!
